Remember the P3 Navy plane that was forced down by the Chinese AF a few years ago?

One of the Chinese fighter aircraft was downed in the incident when it collided with the P3 which it "buzzed".

Even though it looks like the recovery effort cost more than the aircraft is probably worth, there was no way the US was going to let the plane stay in the Chinese hands.

The following slide show describes how the plane was recovered.
