The Lighthouse Mission was founded in 1992 and our supreme goal is to enable those who for one reason or another are down on their luck, and to help them back to productivity, a key word for us.

Some of the services offered by the Lighthouse are:
1. Providing the homeless with temporary shelter, food, clothing and personal needs in a Christian atmosphere, with a sense of security and dignity.
2. Food boxes for families which, through no fault of their own, are temporarily unable to feed their families.
3. We attempt to help those who are in need of help with utilities and rent payments so they can stay in their homes rather than go on public assistance.
4. We offer a 6 month in-house “Christian Insight to Addiction Program” for those with alcohol and drug problems. This takes them off the street and provides Uncertified Counseling for them.
5. We offer tangible expressions of Christ's love and concern to those who are developmentally limited or physically disabled, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. These are the people for which society just doesn't seem to have any place.

“For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink, I was a hungry, and ye took me in, naked, and ye clothed me, was sick, and you visited me, in prison, and ye came unto me."
